Thaipusam 2014


Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February). It is mainly observed in countries where there is a significant presence of Tamil community. On Thaipusam day, Batu Caves often attracts over one million devotees offer prayers either by piercing their body with spikes and lemon, pulling a chariot or carrying Kavadis.Read more about thaipusam at wikipedia here. Malaysia 2014 new year revelry
